- Relevant Pandora / Hope flashback

It was on this day, April 18th, 2025, that cookies rained from the heavens.

Meteorologists were stumped. Some claimed they had the answers, but it turned out they'd just seen a kids movie about raining food.

Their input remained valued nonetheless before it was learned there was a sequel, at which point its credibility was called into question. No movie of actual scientific integrity will ever warrant a sequel.

The truth, as it turned out, was that a number of people had predicted a plot twist in a comic, and upon its reveal, it rained cookies.

The exact mechanisms for this phenomenon remain unknown, but it is widely assumed that the word "quantum" was involved. And possibly tachyons.

Anyway, yes, Ragnarok became Voltaire confirmed. Dude was trying to get the rules changed for a WHILE.

"Can we go swimming first?"

I'd originally planned for there to be a pool on the balcony of the apartment, mostly because I saw one in a movie once, and thought "dang, a pool on a roof?"

I didn't really allow myself room to show such a thing, however, and it would have been an obstacle between Voltaire reaching Mist. Like, he would've just floated over it, but showing that would've been awkward.

Which is a shame, because I looked at SO many videos of rooftop pools for reference.
