I struggled a bit with the first panel. I wanted to make it extra clear that Dave a) can choose personalities, and b) isn't limited to this form when transforming.
Which isn't difficult to convey if one is allowed to just say that, but I wanted to convey that information with somewhat natural dialogue, darn it.
