I debated whether to say their names because not a single person's actual name is given in the Charles Perrault version of Cinderella that inspired this. People are identified descriptively, such as "older stepsister".
That works a lot better when it's a short story in all text, however. This is a comic, so unless I'm feeling bold enough to use narration, it's mostly dialogue, and people tend to call each other by, well, names.
