I genuinely had only intended to poke fun at the idea of Writer's Block using weaponry, but yeah, unarmed and melee fighting in a game with guns and giant monsters is all a bit silly, isn't it?

Particularly considering Melee with high agility is just about the most broken thing ever. You can basically turn yourself into Nightcrawler from the X-Men with damage multipliers in the dozens. The game won't SAY it's in the dozens, but I tested it under controlled conditions (because of course I did), and it can definitely be dozens of times damage if you're a sneaky sneak who sneaks.
