These things happen
You go to a mall to meet someone who is a potential long lost relative, and then some a new version of a guy you knew warns you of a monster attack, reminding you of past trauma that you have to then relive to some degree to protect some kid from a giant snake monster
It's just, like, one of those things
And yeah maybe a fire bear
