The first three panels sums up being a nerd pretty well, really.
This whole subject, and things related to it, are very near and dear to the cockles of my heart. Did I have to say "cockles"? No. No, I did not. I CHOSE to.
I wish I could claim that I had panel two planned for ages, and that's why Justin's wearing a shirt with a collar, but I totally just wanted him to be wearing something nice that stood out at this party. It wasn't until I was literally sketching panel two that I realized the exciting options were available to me.
