That's not useless, of course. Having a list of things one possesses can be very useful, as can having a detailed list of what spells one has available.

It's just not going to spell check for you.

I really didn't want wizards to just have the full scoop after copying a spell. I wanted the option for wizards to not fully get the spells they were copying, AND for them to copy spells without a complete understanding. Being able to copy spells while still being surprised by what they do is much more fun.

Which happened earlier! Jay only got the general idea of AJ's spell AFTER using it.

Tedd is generally going to know what's up, of course, and might need to have a spell figured out to accurately put it into a wand. Tedd might be able to do partial copying, however, or things based on the general idea even if they don't fully grasp the full spell. Plus Tedd won't always be able to get a spell, or it might take them a while.

Basically, I want there to be plenty of room for confusion and misspellings.
