- Jay, Jill, and Jack

- Susan Vs Jay for Susan deck strategy

- Tragically, Jay did not go on to utterly defeat AJ after this previous page

- The dropped backpack

As satisfying as it might have been for Jay to defeat AJ, something felt right to me about Jay not winning the round. Not just, perhaps, but right.

And now for something completely different

I have advice for managing background noise while doing stuff without it being distracting!

Probably not what you expected to read down here, but I previously mentioned feeling like my brain was overloaded or something, trying to think about everything and nothing? Struggling to find something to have on in the background that tickled my brain without being distracting was part of it.

A lesson I relearned tonight is that quality videos about things you're not THAT interested in yourself, and have a pretty steady pace to them, can be excellent. Pacing is important, by which I mean frequency of talking, interruptions, sound variations, etc.

Another way to put it would be "steady". Steady videos that don't suddenly demand more of your focus for some reason.

I went from occasionally getting sidetracked to easily staying on task. Added bonus, not feeling compelled to rewind after realizing you haven't *really* been listening for the past five minutes.

(No offense intended, videos on the Pokémon competitive scene. You were quite good videos. I just don't actually have much interest in, well, the Pokémon competitive scene.)
