Panel two Diane is drawn with what I call a "startled cat" effect, which I wanted to use just because it felt right, but also served as an opportunity to show Diane with round ears again.
Now, Diane's ears being back to normal IS something Noah has likely noticed, but whether that means panel two can be taken literally, or he simply saw them when Diane hurriedly moved between panels, is entirely open to reader interpretation.

I think that last panel has my favorite drawing of Lucy so far? Something about the hair.
This is a pleasant surprise for me, because I struggled a bit sorting out how she'd be standing.
