Elliot was originally not going to question flying off, but the more I thought about it, the more "Elliot" it was for him to lose sight of the big picture and focus on the immediate trouble, or at least complicated situation full of explaining to do, facing Justin. Immediately flying off would be, like, a "Kevin" thing.

Also originally, I spent a fair amount of time writing an exposition-heavy monologue for Elliot, effectively narrating what he felt he needed to do, and eventually getting lost in the thrill of flying. It was difficult to write, and I realized that the reason for that was that it was better without words, and thus the spell checking of this comic became exponentially easier.

Which means, of course, that if there are typos, I will cry.

Those extras in panel five aren't intended to look like anyone. I just determined their relative position and winged their designs, but I've noticed that I've been drawing more and more female extras wearing glasses lately. I blame 30 Rock for this.

Also? Lobsters. They're a crafty lot.
