As one may recall, Damien threatened to bring him plenty of coffee later.
Also, holy crap. I remembered the creepy stuff about Damien and breeding an army, but I had actually forgotten about panels four and six. I was thinking to myself while re-reading earlier comics “why did Hedge bring Elliot back? I guess because Damien would be upset, and he’s a violent jerk.”
I was NOT thinking “because he would’ve either killed Hedge or gone on a murderous rampage hunting Hedge down.”
Damn. Damien’s a JERK. And Hedge is a bit less of a jerk. Yay Hedge.
