Note: The EGS storyline is continuous, and it is recommended that the comics be read in order. Art starts out rough but gets better

Brief Description - A strange comic about a group of teenagers and the bizarre, often supernatural, situations that they face. Includes a continuing complex storyline with non-linear joke comics on the side. WARNING: Often ignores the laws of Physics.

The Comic Sections
El Goonish Shive has three comic sections. The arrow buttons right below the comics only browse through the current section, but the arrows marked "All" make it possible to browse through all three sections at the same time.

Story - The comics displayed on the front page are the story/main comics. EGS began with story comics, and the other sections are derived from this main section. The comic shown on this page is a story comic.

EGS:NP - subsection with short stories and single comics presented in a traditional daily newspaper format. It is recommended you read at least some, if not all, of the main section before reading through EGS:NP or the Filler comics so as to avoid story spoilers. EGS:NP stories generally take place outside of the continuity of the main story, but can still contain spoilers.

Filler - contains comics that don't fit in the Story or EGS:NP. For the most part, Filler comics are posted in place of comics for the other two sections, or are for a special occasion, such as the comics anniversary. If one hasn't read through the Story Comics and EGS:NP sections, there will be spoilers.

EGS News - Whenever I have some news to share, it will show up below the comic on the front page of each section, and all by itself in the News Section. Old news, up to a point, is archived in the news section.
