The trick to writing Elliot and Ashley is to remember that they're dorks.
That's it. That's the secret. The rest writes itself.
Ashley was originally going to say "morph for a bit in a stall" in panel two, but "transform while" makes more sense, and that original wording was just... something. It was werid. The change was for the better.
