This is one of those scenes that was always going to take place within the story, but wasn't always going to be shown. I literally decided this scene should actually be shown about six hours before it got posted.
This comic was ridiculously easy to ink and shade, though what was less easy was figuring out the composition. A LOT in this comic is intentionally lacking in helpful visual details, but the comic's kinda sorta a visual medium. I wanted to vague about certain details while still being visually interesting. I'm not 100% satisfied with it, but it's an odd balance to strike, darn it.
