OF COURSE HE'S NOT TEDD WHAT ARE YOU ON ABOUT

*Ahem*

This guy is loosely based on a generic "big bad" fantasy character I came up with when I was much, much younger. There was basically nothing to him beyond being an evil necromancer and using a very poorly drawn Scythe as a weapon (it was essentially a staff with a scythe blade).

He used to have shorter hair. It was combed the same way, but shaved along the sides, so it was only on top of his head. I wanted to make it long and unkempt, which resulted in some "is that Tedd" reactions to the last comic (d'oh).

He always had a scar over one eye. He was a generic big bad necromancer drawn by kid me. Of COURSE he had a scar over one eye.

Also, I named him "Racnar", because I thought it sounded cool. That doesn't seem to be a real name, and might be what some dinosaur-like monsters in the MMORPG Everquest were called? So that's a thing.

It's possible younger me heard "Ragnar" at some point and thought to put a spin on it. Or they thought it actually was "Racnar". That was way too long ago for me to recall.

Speaking of names, I was looking for some variation of "Necromega" to call the demon, but the world being what it is, that, and several variations of it, had already been used a lot, so...

Necromegatherium Edgelordumus.
