A lot of decent lessons sort of lose their shine once safe to use magic gets involved.
Heck, even if their reasons were all sorts of superficial, it'd still be fine. It's still safe, and who is Ashley-Circe to judge?
I mean, beyond the creator of the artifact they want to use.
