I wasn't considering any theory about excessive wealth making people regress when I wrote Sarah's dialogue, but it certainly fits, so I'm going to claim it was intentional.
Also, yes, that's a new She-Ra reference in the last panel, and yes, Nanase Craft just has a sword like that already, because of course she does.
