It's a better excuse than "for sport", at least.
I had not predicted that drawing a lizard person crawling along a curved ceiling that they were sticking to would be all that difficult. I often fail to predict what should blatantly be predictable.
It is also true that I am at my most clever when it is by way or epiphany or accident.
I am forced to conclude that there is an individual far smarter than myself somewhere within my brain who refuses to speak up when they believe what I am missing should be obvious, and vainly hopes I will one day learn better.
That, or there's some raving individual in there spouting nonsense, and every clock being right twice a day, they occasional give me something that makes me look good.
I suppose it could be two individuals working as a team? Or cross purposes. Either is a troubling thought, but so long as I occasionally get to look more clever than I am, I suppose it's fine.
What was I talking about? Oh, right. Yeah, I don't think it's possible to make people look natural crawling... On...
I could have referenced Spider-Man.
WHY DIDN'T I REFERENCE SPIDER-MAN?!
YOU DROPPED THE BALL, PEOPLE IN MY BRAIN! Or was this something they thought I was supposed to get and refused to answer for me?
Either way, this is not going to look good on their quarterly evaluations.
