I wasn't sure about having this fantasy sequence, but it was mostly because I had no idea how to fit it into a single comic and contextualize it.
I definitely wasn't worried about being indulgent. I mean, this is a Goonmanji storyline. That's sort of its job.
The answer, of course, was CHEAT! Cheat like made. Use narration, make the text a little smaller, don't outline the dialogue balloons, and BAM! Room to show all four of them. Huzzah.
