I was originally planning to just draw some random kid noticing that Rhoda had transformed, but then I thought "why not Zoidberg--I mean, Akiko?" And then the world became a better place.
Something I am going to go ahead and clarify after responses to the previous comic is that this is a new spell. I'm not sure if clarifying that via commentary will do much good given that I described it as "a spell like this" in the previous commentary, so I'm guessing theories to the contrary are from people not reading the commentaries, but I can try, darn it.
