This will be mentioned in the next comic itself, but for the record, the Kid card cancels attract effects. A player with kid ignores, and cannot have, the attract ability.
This is one reason I’ve been somewhat indulgent with cow Susan. People liked it, but I'm adhering to the results I got while playtesting, and it only lasted one turn. Forms do not necessarily last long in this game (the obvious exception being Rhoda’s current form, which probably lasts the longest out of anything).
Old Rules
The Cow card is actually a two-type card, physical and animal, which means any other two type card could replace it.
I believe that rule was a decision I came to mid-playtesting, however, and that it was originally more difficult to replace 2-type cards. Under the original rules, Rhoda would have needed to include Skunk to replace the animal part of the cow card, which I think is why she did so here. At the time, I was treating it as necessary.
I changed it mid-playtesting because I was getting the impression that it was way too restrictive. I wanted the acquisition of spaces / the transformation of players to be commonplace, and for cases of not being able to to be the exception.
