It's not too difficult to sort out what this means, but between wanting to make a joke about the flashlight spell being "a beam", and pointing out the distinction between beam and not-beam spells, I felt things were a bit cramped for a proper visual demonstation that would cover everything I wanted.

As such, please forgive the postponement of said visuals to the next comic, where they can be given greater focus, and also please put out your pitchfork torches.

Truthfully, I'm impressed you've all managed to invent fire pitchforks that rage with a menacing light without burning up themselves or their wielders, but I'd prefer not to be on the receiving end of them.
