Look, I thought a fancy-looking text would be interpreted differently than just bold and/or less fancy text I'M NOT ALWAYS GOOD AT PREDICTING HOW HUMANS WILL INTERPRET THINGS
Other humans, I mean.
I am definitely, too, a human.
Anyway, the text style change did not clearly communicate what I wanted to communicate, and I needed some way in-comic to address that AND introduce a more obvious alternative.
Fortunately for me, Tedd nerds out sometimes.
