Taking Wednesday off for behind the scenes nonsense!
This wasn't a page I'd originally planned. I had expected to be taking a Monday off for behind the scenes nonsense.
Out of nowhere, though, I had this idea for Ellen's reaction to Tedd, and said "yes."
"Good."
Given who Ellen is, and how differently (and similarly) she thinks of Tedd, I decided it would absolutely be a mistake to not show her reaction.
I also decided to show a (sort of) new form for Elliot? I don't think it's as easy to tell as I'd hoped, given the angle, and Ellen's pose, but...
Elliot is the same height in panel three as in panel one, and is taller than Ellen instead of becoming the same height as her.
Since there'd been a time skip, I decided that Elliot should have more experience with trying to stay the same height (his wanting this was discussed during the party with Ashley. In the page before, Elliot expresses interest in a wand that might help with keeping a desired height).
Since I don't think the height is shown off enough here, this form (or one like it) will probably be in a sketchbook entry in the not-so-distant future with Elliot standing next to someone that will make the height clear.
