- Multiple no's, and "you do NOT..." from a partial echo of the memory

Hope getting some flashes of the memory probably means it didn't get through the refresh PERFECTLY sealed, but nobody point that out to Hope. She'll start feeling like someone helped open the pickle jar.

Memory Narration

I am very thankful that the memory narration is an established thing with Pandora. I tried writing this sequence without narration, and it was either (A) baffling, (B) resulted in past Pandora spending way too much thinking / talking in a crisis, or (C) both.

THAT, and I have to remind myself that not everyone has my frames of reference. I've read / watched / played plenty of stories that involve psychic attacks. When I see a character with a look on their face like that, I'm just like "well, THERE'S your problem", but I can't expect that for everyone reading this.

Like being hit with a shovel

I cried while making this page, and it was the toy shovel that made it happen.

Mundane things that are simply a part of people's lives are what tend to activate associated thoughts that overwhelm my emotions, and though I should have expected it, I was caught off guard by it here.

I don't mean my eyes watered little, either. This was a proper "I need a break" cry.

So if anyone is reading this storyline and thinking I'm cackling with glee like the evil cartoonist I am, um, no. That's not the case, here. Don't worry, I'll have things to "mwuh-hahaha" about later.
