I WROTE SO MANY VERSIONS OF THIS. THEY KEPT GOING LONG.
*Erhem* So. Yeah. I recently acquired a small notebook for comic planning, and it is really helpful with brainstorming and writing early comic drafts.
In recent years, I've just typed things up, or kept them in my head. The notebook makes things a lot easier for me somehow. I don't have an explanation for why it works better than typing, but it seems to.
Anyway, I bring up that small notebook because there are pages upon pages in it of Grace being more wordy, Justin being more wordy, Justin being completely omitted from the conversation for being too wordy and Grace just thinking to herself, Justin being brought back into the conversation because it seemed weird that Grace was focused on these things as opposed to other things without Justin prompting it, etc.
Like, this is one page, I wanted it to be one page, and it easily fits on one page, but for some reason, getting to this point was like sculpting a small statue out of a massive boulder. I think the reason was because there were specific things I wanted to get across on this page, and I just went overboard on making sure they did
Which doesn't sound AT ALL like something I would do, I'm sure.
