I'm sure some readers must have predicted this explanation, and it makes sense when you consider that the Cheerleadra spell goes so far as to come with secret identity forms. I doubt Clark Kent's cell phone forwards calls to Superman's... cell... phone? That Superman has? While Superman?

I was GOING to reference the weregoat caper (for weregoats are hilarious), but then I remembered it was official canon that the weregoat caper happened somewhere away from Moperville. I'd be mad at my past self for having already elaborated upon the wergoat caper in some way, but I can't really blame him. Weregoats are hilarious.
