In case you were one of those people who, whenever Tedd wasn't on panel, were asking "where's Tedd?", that's where. Tedd was deliberately avoiding social interaction for a bit.

Had I infinite time, energy, and a swarm of loyal artistic squirrel minions, panel two would have been a wide shot showing absolutely everyone in the comic shop.

Since I only have a swarm of accountant squirrel minions whose loyalty is dependent on nuts, I went with showing a decent number of people nearby to Hope.

On the plus side, those squirrels really know their spreadsheets.
