This story arc will end Friday, and EGSNP returns next week on Tuesday. Assuming no complications, story comics will have a full two week break, plus a Monday, with story comics returning Wednesday, May 7th.
If anything changes, I'll make an announcement in huge neon letters (note: letters might not actually be neon).

References at the bottom, because ye GODS did I gather quite a few.
It was tempting to have something in the previous commentary along the lines of "the explanation will not be given through exposition", but I felt that was too close to giving the game away.
Also, possibly arguable? I mean, plenty of words are being said. I'm pretty sure someone having a bit of a tangent with useful information, even if indirect in some ways, counts as exposition.
This page could have been on a Friday, and it sure feels pretty Friday. I had some behind the scenes hiccups in production not directly related to the comic, however, and there were some things I was still considering for this scene (both visually, and writing-wise).
The non-comic reasons were probably enough, but add on to that "I want to make sure I end this properly", and having the next page Monday made so much more sense to me.
That, and now the arc gets to end on a Friday! I choose to be happy about that!
Mist Ref
- Mist and pals running through a forest in Balance
- Mist's leader, Saou, giving the ending narration of Balance (also a cat following Sarah that was probably Hope)
- Mist and pals up to... Maybe neutralness? In Layers
- Mist wants a skateboard (still Layers)
- Mist with a bad dream-related idea resulting in the "do I know you" phenomenon
- Mist wanting to do something good for this side of the world
Voltaire Ref
- Technically Voltaire's first appearance (not clearly seen)
- Showing up at the mall
- Making use of a detective to manipulate Sirleck
- Showing up in Tedd's basement
- Eavesdropping on Tedd learning that magic will most likely change
- Contemplating his schemes in Sister 3
- Primary scheme not really successful, but he'll work with it
- Making his case to change immortal law (successfully, as we find out)
